ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Nicola Sellis. I am 18 years old and a senior at South Lyon High School. I was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but grew up in South Lyon, Michigan where I have lived with my parents, along with my brother and sister.
In the fall I will be attending Bowling Green State University in Ohio. I will be majoring in exercise science. My goal is to become a physical therapist who specializes in sports injury and recovery.
Throughout my high school career, I had many opportunities to be involved. I have been a member of both the National Honors Society and LINK Crew for the past two years. This year I joined Student Council and a new Future Medical Professionals Club.
Outside of school I enjoy gymnastics. I have been a gymnast for almost 15 years and compete at the Junior Olympic level for 10 years. Starting my junior year I created my own high school gymnastics team where I got the opportunity to compete with surrounding high schools in the area. I have had the amazing opportunity to be a member of the Brighton and Howell Gymnastics teams as a solo competitor.
On top of school, clubs, and gymnastics, I also coach younger girls and boys at Infinity Gymnastics Academy. I have worked there for about two and a half years and have had the chance to work with a variety of athletes.
