At South Lyon High School, I excelled in chemistry and anatomy and physiology which led to my interest in dual enrollment. While dual enrolled at Schoolcraft College, I had the opportunity to be more introduced to the medical world through the classes I took. After completing the Introduction to Medical Terminology course I was sure of my decision to major in exercise science at Bowling Green State University. I received the Academic Investment in Math and Science scholarship which has since allowed me to meet with various advisors who helped me narrow my career path and decide on a coaching minor.
